Certifications: Usui Reiki Okuden; Yoga Nidra; Burnout Resilience; Mindful, Trauma-Informed Yoga
What to expect: Lauren’s warm, effusive presence brings intentional, seasonally inspired sequencing and generous personal attention to classes that build calm energy in a slow, feel-good wave.
Lauren (she/her) began teaching yoga and guiding Yoga Nidra on the seacoast of Maine and New Hampshire in 2017. Her journey with yoga began more than a decade earlier as a way to cultivate a kinder, deeper connection with herself.
As a teacher, Lauren believes yoga should be accessible to everyone and strives to create a welcoming, inclusive environment where all can come as they are. Her teaching style is vinyasa-based with an emphasis on nervous system support, mindful movement, and mobility. Students can expect to be challenged while feeling supported as they explore the connection between strength and softness through breath and movement. Whether flowing through dynamic sequences or settling into stillness, students are invited to deepen their sense of presence, resilience, and self-awareness—both on and off the mat. In addition to her 200hr RYT, Lauren has completed additional training and certification in Yoga Nidra, trauma-informed mindfulness, burnout resilience, and continues to study practices that support lifelong movement, slow living, and nervous system health.
