Do you have an interest in yoga but want to learn the basics before stepping into a group class? In this introductory series we will cover the basics of yoga philosophy, foundational postures (asana) with focus on safe alignment, and breath exercises (pranayama). Each session will build upon the skills learned in the last and end with a closing meditation and time for questions. Come find how yoga is so much more than stretching or a workout, and how to modify the postures to meet your needs in a group class. At completion you will have the knowledge to confidently join weekly classes on our schedule. Get started on your yoga journey this fall!
