Catalunya’s Costa Brava is a majestic stretch of Spain’s Mediterranean coastline, which stretches from the France-Spain border, south towards Barcelona.
Visitors love the region for its picturesque Medieval-era towns, beautiful rolling hills, and gorgeous beaches. The area is an easy hour and half drive from Barcelona’s international airport, making this location the perfect place to retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. The Costa Brava region is famous for its medieval villages and local wineries. Included in our retreat is an afternoon touring the quaint, 11th century village of Pals, plus a visit to a local wine cellar, with educational tour, tasting and lite bites. Of course, we also leave ample free time to simply sit by the pool, read a book, get a massage, or visit another nearby medieval village or local beach.
This retreat includes:
5 nights / 6 days of upscale accommodations at Cap Sa Sal, a boutique resort located in the town of Begur, right on the ocean and Camino de Ronda walking trails
Meals Included: breakfast and dinner daily at the resort's restaurant. We also include a tapas lunch during our coastal walk excursion, a lunch at a lovely restaurant during our Girona / Dali tour day, and tapas during our wine tasting excursion.
Three Included Active & Cultural Excursions: group coastal walk excursion with tapas lunch, group winery tour & tasting excursion + Pals town visit and tour, group excursion to Girona with tour and lunch, and tour of the Dali Museum in Figures.

Cap Sa Sal accommodations range from luxury double bedroom suites located in the main villa, the hub of our retreat — to private single rooms in the boutique hotel just next door. We have access to multiple pools (one of which is located at the villa and is ours exclusively), a large private jacuzzi, and private steps through the rocky shore down to the crystal clear Mediterranean Sea.
Direct flights to Barcelona are available, and this 5 night /6 day itinerary leaves plenty of space on either end of the retreat to explore this magnificent city on your own.
