Where do psychology and yoga overlap?
What is the ego? What is the Self? What is the psyche?
In this workshop we will explore, discuss, and ponder the ancient teachings of yoga from a psychological framework. We will delve into the overlap of modern psychotherapy and yoga philosophy. Participants will be invited to broaden their understanding of yoga beyond the physical practice, and as a tool for self-reflection and personal inquiry.
This will a lecture style workshop, with space for experiential self-reflection exercises. No physical yoga experience necessary. Psychology nerds and philosophy buffs encouraged.
In addition to teaching yoga, Sara has a BS in Psychology, a Master’s in Art Therapy, and coursework in Psychoanalysis.
