Some yoga experience required.
It is important that your shoulders have both strength and endurance. This ropes and slings workshop will focus on the internal and external rotation of the shoulder and explore techniques that will train the muscles that balance the ball in the socket.
Practicing yoga postures using the resistance and assistance of the wall ropes and slings to invites length, strength, traction and profound alignment awareness. Derived from the Iyengar Yoga tradition, working with the wall ropes is called Yoga Kurunta, which translates to ‘yoga puppet’. Benefits include but not limited to improved posture and reduced back pain.
