Ayur – meaning life, and Veda – meaning science, is the life science of Yogic practice. This ancient system has been practiced in India and has spread around the globe for the last 5,000 years. Modern scientific “discoveries” related to circadian rhythms, digestive health, and environmental impact; all actually have roots in Ayurveda.
Come learn about the three doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Take a questionnaire to discover your own dosha and how to better balance it. Discover why fall is Vata season and how you can eat and move more strategically during this time. We will also review the Ayurvedic clock – in Ayurveda, there is an ideal time of day for just about everything!
Workshop will include a 30-minute Vata balancing asana practice, and will close with tea and an opportunity for Q&A. Bring your favorite notebook to take in everything covered in this informational session.
