1.5 hr Workshop
Some yoga experience required.
Practice yoga postures using the resistance and assistance of the wall ropes and slings to invite length, strength, traction and profound alignment awareness. Derived from the Iyengar Yoga tradition, working with the wall ropes is called Yoga Kurunta, which translates to ‘yoga puppet’. Benefits include improved posture and reduced back pain.
We begin this workshop with a review of the basics of the ropes + slings practice, and then introduce more challenging postures including inversions. We recommend that you take at least one Introduction to Ropes + Slings class prior to this workshop.
