Looking to kick-start your yoga practice this spring? Brand new to yoga and want to have some basics down before taking a group class? This is the workshop for you!
Join April on Saturday, 4/11 from 2-4:30 for a workshop geared towards absolute beginners and those looking to brush up on basic alignment and principles of yoga.
The workshop description and all info is below:
We will begin with a discussion of yoga history and philosophy before learning foundational postures (asana) and breath exercises (pranayama). We'll then put them together in a simple flowing sequence complete with a closing meditation and time for questions.
Come find out why yoga is so much more than stretching or a workout, learn how to take care of your body by modifying the postures to meet your needs in any group class, and take home a simple practice to keep you progressing in between studio classes. You will gain the skills to confidently join our weekly Gentle Basics other classes on our schedule.
